The Revealed Heart (2010)

Bio:

A social worker for the developmentally disabled by day and a composer/pianist by night, Larry Wayne Rice wrote his first original composition on the family piano, at 12 years of age.  He was raised in a household, where the arts & artists were revered and his family was supportive of his playing. This allowed Larry a great deal of freedom to experiment with what he clinically describes as his “obsessive compulsive disorder.”

Author and musician Robin Easton, describes the music offered on “Revealed Heart” in this quote:

"Larry Rice plays with deep raw emotion, it is as if playing the piano, is his way of sharing his life story. He pours his heart and soul into his music. I don't think

anyone could listen to Larry's piano solos without experiencing their own life's joy, hope, sorrow, freedom, and love. This is music that awakens the soul and uplifts the spirit."

Larry is a self-taught pianist, who resides in Camarillo, California with his wife Julie and their two German Shepard dogs, a cat and several fish

Larry is currently working on writing the music for his next CD, which he plans to record at Joe Bongiorno’s Piano Haven Studio in Seattle.  Larry says, “In my opinion, the sound quality which is produced at Piano Haven is unmatched and I want to experience my compositions on Joe’s “Dream Piano.”
