Bio:
Joey Curtin is a composer and keyboard artist who began her musical career in the San Francisco Bay area. Her piano and synthesizer creations are a fusion of jazz, new age, Americana and Celtic influences. Her performances include:

Internationally, Joey has traveled to Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Indonesia, Ethiopia, the Philippines and Singapore to perform and speak. In Northern Ireland, her music has been part of Peace and Reconciliation meetings. Her CD “River of Life” is heard on many New Age radio stations around the world. Two tracks from this project were part of a documentary that
aired on PBS.
From 2003-2004 Joey was hired by the Methodist Hospital at the Texas Medical Center in Houston to give a four hour performance every Saturday and Sunday. She played for patients, surgeons, staff, and visitors. Her music was described by many as "healing". Joey received awards from ASCAP for these performances.
In 2007, she released “God With Us,” a Christmas project which earned her the honor to become a “Whisperings” solo piano artist.
Joey composed for a number of musicians to create a classical/folk fusion CD. “Soundtrack For America” was released May 17, 2008. This is an instrumental love song for our country and is featured on public radio.
Joey is presently living in Kansas City, MO composing and recording for a sound library. Her latest CD release is a solo piano project of cover tunes titled “Going to California.”
