Fabio Mancini, born in Milan on 19 August 1967, comes from a background of polished piano and organ music (academic degrees for both the instruments). He attended also composition courses with D.Lorenzini and harpsichord classes with L.Alvini. He undertook master classes in organ interpretation with several renowned artists such as: H.Vogel, M.Radulescu, W.Krumbach (for Bach and german baroque music), A.Isoir, M.Chapuis (for french music), C.Stella and M.Torrent Serra (for spanish music). At the age of 18 he began his career as a classical musician, winning music competitions and performing concerts. From the age of 20, when he listened to Keith Emerson and Genesis, he developed a strong interest in progressive rock and electronic keyboards, in particular moog and hammond. In 1987 and 1988 he has won the 11th and 12th editions of the Noales Organ

International Competition. Fabio alternate classical music with progressive rock music, playing piano and organ as soloist and with classical orchestras, or performing gigs playing keyboards in the progressive band "The Watch". He cooperates with many orchestras among which Milans Pomeriggi Musicali, Accademia Concertante dArchi,

Mediolanensis Orchestra, "Nuova Cameristica" Orchestra and Leccos A.Vivaldi Orchestra. With these Orchestras he often performed Organ Concertos by F.Poulenc, G.F. Haendel, J. Haydn, W.A. Mozart, J.G Albrechtsberger, J. Stamitz and F.X. Brixi. Engaged for the sake of

historical organs, he actively collaborates with the Artistic Organ Defence jointly with the Milans Architectural and Ambient Found. Since 1989 he is also titular organist and choir conductor in St. Leonardo Murialdos Parish Church in Milan. In 2003 Fabio released his first CD as classical musician, 'Organ Music Vol. 1', with baroque organ music by J.S. Bach, D. Buxtehude, J.G. Walther and N. Bruhns. He was the first musician that realized a CD with the incoming Hauptwerk technology. In 2005 he realized a Piano CD called "The Solitayre Voyager" with original compositions, with a piano style somewhere between Classical, Contemporary and New Age. In 2007 he realized his second piano solo CD called "Secret World". Both the Cds received very good reviews. He is also teaching Music Editory in the State University of Milan from 2004, Piano in the European Music Insitut of Milan and he is collaborating with the Music Web Site Vivaldistudio.com as a Music consultant.
