Butterfly Tones (2011)

Bio:

Living on the fringe has always been my style, but The Tones have taken me over. It began in 1996 with the sound of wind chimes wafting through the air on a midnight walk. The next day I bought a piece of aluminum tubing and struck it with a mallet. It sounded a perfect Bb and resonated for over a minute. I was hooked, though I prefer the term captivated.

     To perfect the instrument has been my passion, my vision and my biggest challenge for 15 years. I began recording three years ago which has been yet another challenging and delightful experience. Many say the music is as unique and beautiful as the instrument itself. Others claim the vibrant spirit of The Tones is one that has the ability to penetrate the walls of our reality and bring us closer to a place of peace and tranquility.
